He posted some text in some sort of discussion class that basically stated: “I’m conducting a (free) os (just an interest, won’t always be professional such as gnu) pertaining to 386 (486) IN clones. ” This project that they deemed only a hobby eventually grew to be the start source os, Linux. Today it is among the main stream operating systems. Many feel like Linux is among the only extended real challenges on the super power of 'microsoft', especially following US Department of Justice finally decided to quit trying to break Microsoft up.
